As per the ancient Greek mythology, the Phoenix is a dazzling bird- incredibly beautiful with stunning splashes of purple-red color in its twirling feathers. Greek historians associate this fiery bird with fire who lived for almost 500 years. The beliefs say, when the mystical Phoenix was at the verge of death, it built a nest from scented branches and later put fire to it only to devour itself in flames. After three days, the raging bird came back from the ashes, revived and reborn. That is why, the Phoenix signifies longevity, rebirth, and beginning of a new life.
